Innovation, connection and professional development on full display!
VITA’s Commonwealth security and risk management (CSRM) team recently hosted a three-hour lunch-and-learn. In partnership with Splunk, the Splunk4Rookies: Dashboard Studio professional development event gave customers a hands-on introduction to one of the data analytics platform’s most powerful visualization tools.
During the Dashboard Studio workshop, attendees learned how to build fully functional dashboards by writing searches, adding visualizations and exploring essential interactivity and design features in Splunk Dashboard Studio. The training is designed for agencies new to Splunk or for staff members joining existing Splunk teams, offering a practical and approachable way to develop dashboarding skills.
The session was part of VITA’s ongoing engagement effort to provide more learning and development opportunities to customers. Driven by customer demand, it is the latest in a series of hands-on sessions led by Splunk trainers who guide participants through real-world exercises. VITA plans to continue offering Splunk-focused training every other month to support cyber readiness across the Commonwealth.
