Brunei Launches Initiative to Ignite Students' Interest in Hospitality Careers
This outreach aims to strengthen the link between educational institutions and the tourism sector, with plans to broaden its scope to include public engagement, encouraging more widespread participation.
The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge to make informed academic and career choices, helping them set clear professional goals.
Nurhaziqah Shakila, a student at Sayyidina Ali Secondary School, said that the talk motivated her to explore career possibilities in the areas of tourism and hospitality. She now has a greater understanding of the opportunities that exist.
So far this month, more than 270 secondary students enrolled in Travel and Tourism, Geography, and Nutrition and Food courses across various schools nationwide have taken part in these briefings.
